The mini palette contains small quantities (about finger-nail size) of 16 shades in the
Dermacolor range. These are excellent sampler kits that have a good
range of colours. Use these sets to determine the right shade for the right season.
Available in seven compositions:
#1 - Olive Tones:
D1, D2, D3, D4, D5, D6, D7, D8, D9, D10, D11, D32, D13, D14, D15, D16. The
colours range from the pale yellow highlighter to a dark milk chocolate skin tone. Most
are olive colours. D32 is a normal lip colour. D13, D14, D15, D16 are dark tones that seem
to lack the olive colouring.
#2 - Warm Tones:
D0, D1W, D2W, D3W, D4W, D5W, D8W, D50, D51, D55, D56, D18, D31, D32, D40, D20. The colours
range from the light pale yellow highlighter to a light milk chocolate skin tone. All are
warm colours. D31 and D32 are lip colours. D40 is a dark olive grey.
#3 - Yellow & Darker Skin Tones:
D1, D2, D3, D3½, D4, D4½, D5, D6, D7, D8, D9, D10, D11, D18, D19, D20. Similar to
palette #1, but with more nuances and no very dark tones.
#4 - Multi Tones:
D0, D1, D1½, D2, D3, D3½, D4, D4½, D5, D6, D7, D9, D50, D51, D55, D32. Mainly light,
Caucasian, skin tones. Most are olive colours. D32 is a lip colour.
#5 - Mixed Tones:
D61, D62, D63, D64, D65, D66, D17, D67, D070, D071, D089, D102, D512, D546,
D305, D742. A mix of eight popular skin tones (ranging from light to dark)
and eight bright shades (white, black, grey, dark brown, green, dark blue,
yellow and light brown).
DKL - Dark Skin Tones:
Sixteen dark shades including several darker chocolate tones. Suitable for
Africa and the Middle East.
D11, D13, D14, D15, D16, D17, D20, D742, D56, D040, D043, D10W, D006, D007,
D101 and D102.
H16 - Light & Medium Olive Tones:
D1, D1½, D2, D3, D3½, D4, D4½, D5, D6, D7, D8, D9, D10, D11, D32, D13.
Similar to palette #3. All are olive tones with a few mid-tones. D32 is a
lip colour.
